Revision of the Church Electoral Roll
This year a new electoral roll will need to be completed by early May. People who are on the current electoral roll will have been contacted and asked to complete a new form. Anyone else wishing to be added to the electoral roll can find an application form and the associated rules on Church Representation Rules online - part 10 | The Church of England.  Felicity is the Electoral Roll secretary and can be contacted by emailing
allhallowsharthill@gmail.com. Application forms are now available at the back of the church.

 

Thursday 22nd May 7pm, All Hallows Church
Annual Parochial Church Meeting. Anyone who is on the Church Electoral Roll can attend this meeting and can vote on church matters and stand for various positions including Church Warden and PCC membership. We would welcome newcomers on the PCC - please ask any of those on the Contacts list for more information or email allhallowsharthill@gmail.com

Saturday 24th May to Saturday 31st May - Explorers Week

All Hallows Church is participating in a Diocese led scheme to encourage visitors. We want to show people our magnificent building which dates from the 11th century - an architectural wonder which is still a fully functioning church with regular services. We have a brand new audio guide which is available to download from a QR code in the Church or from this website (visit SHOP). On Wednesday 28th May and Thursday 29th May we will be serving simple refreshments between 12 noon and 2pm.

Whether you live locally or from a distance, please come along. The Church will be open between 10am and 5pm every day.

Tuesday 27th May 7pm Zoom Meeting -Church Mission Society Yorkshire Branch

Bishop Alf Cooper is a dynamic evangelist currently celebrating 50 years service in Chile. According to Bob Lunt he is a fantastic speaker. Also speaking Rosie and Stu Bayford, pioneers of a community market in a poor area of Brazil. They also serve at a safe house for children at risk.

Wednesday 4th June 10am to 4.30pm - Five Churches Walk 

​A Sheffield Diocese Pilgrimage Event starting at Wales Church.

A 10 mile route taking in Todwick, South Anston, Thorpe Salvin, Harthill and Wales.

You will need good walking shoes and a packed lunch. The group will stop to pray at each Church and along the way.

 

Saturday 14th June 4.30pm - A full peal of bells 

 

 

will be rung by a visiting team of bell ringers. It should last about 3 hours. This takes a lot of stamina!

Another team of ringers is visiting on Saturday 16th August 12noon for an hour or so, from the University association of Yorkshire ringers.

 

Wednesday 10th September 7pm, All Hallows Church
 

 

 

 

 

Jonathan Moseley, celebrated floral designer presents a Demonstration of Floristry. Tickets cost £20 and are selling fast so if you wish to attend please email allhallowsharthill@gmail.com or telephone Janet 07708 399886. The displays created will be raffled off at the end of the show.
